More Than Just A Company
Our HLNA headquarters in East Liberty, Ohio is more than just a place to work. It’s the place we call home. That’s why we’re dedicated to being active in our local community and helping our employees get involved.
Learning, connecting, & growing.
From IT to safety, finance and more, HLNA has a wide range of employment opportunities for all skill levels, which is why we regularly participate in local job fairs with social service organizations and local Chambers of Commerce. We also work with local school systems and area technical schools to help students learn job searching and resume skills and partner with colleges and universities for internship programs.

Fun for employees and families.
HLNA sponsors free or reduced-rate group outings for our associates as a way to grow closer outside the office. Recent trips have included a wellness canoe outing on Mad River, a fishing trip on Indian lake (with more than 100 participants!), Cincinnati Reds baseball game, and dinner and a show at Ballet Met’s The Nutcracker.

Lending a helping hand both in and out of manufacturing.
HLNA is proud to raise money for local organizations as well as create opportunities for our employees to volunteer their time outside of the office.
Programs

Know safety, no accidents.
With a holistic approach to safety in the workplace, HLNA consistently assesses and corrects job hazards as we move toward standardization and a proactive safety culture. We utilize the Japanese philosophy of “Gemba walks,” which means actually going into the workplace to understand how operations are running instead of relying on secondhand information.

Ergonomic understanding.
As a part of a new pilot program, HLNA is collecting data from employees wearing ergonomic belts—essentially an activity tracker worn around the waist—to analyze movement such as squatting, lifting, and bending. This will help us understand high hazard areas, improve job rotations, and ultimately prevent workplace injuries.

Caring for our planet.
In the manufacturing industry, we know it is our responsibility to ensure we preserve and protect the earth’s resources. That’s why HLNA participates in greenhouse gas initiatives to track our emissions and meet sustainability targets. We also work in our local community with adopt-a-highway programs, recycling programs (our Ohio recycling rate is 95%!) and have donated land in a watershed location to the Nature Conservancy of Ohio.
